Born in New York City to parents of Puerto Rican descent, Michelle was raised in a home filled with a love and appreciation for varied musical genres from Jazz, R&B, Soul and Funk, to Folk, Salsa, Hip Hop and her personal favorite, Neo-Soul.  Michelle’s diverse taste is evident in her emerging vocal style.
